As part of our Year 7 and 8 curriculum, students take part in a carousel of different activities. These activities include Swimming, Outdoor Education, Cooking and Digital Literacy & Safety. In addition to this we also understand that some students may wish to study Latin as a subject and that some of these students may wish to select this when they enter the Senior School as a GCSE subject. In order to successfully study Latin in the Senior School we recommend that students study it in the Prep School first.
Students who wish to study Latin in the Prep School will take it in place of the Carousel of activities listed above. Please use the form below to state your preference about whether your son/daughter will study Latin or take part in the carousel. It is not possible to pick and choose between some of the carousel activities.
Students who select Latin will still get opportunities to be involved with Swimming, Outdoor Education and Computing in other areas throughout Years 7 and 8.
